The braid model is very good when used for drifting with artificial lures and also makes a nice rod for inshore bottom fishing for tope, smoothounds rays & congers. The New Penn Squadron II Braid Boat rods are built around a superb short butt long tip 24T high-composite blank which is lightweight and balanced with a modern fast action.
